Sputnik are looking to expand the team with an online marketing strategist. You will be fundamental in recommending ROI focused marketing activities involving both on and offline channels for clients, as well as developing and implementing our own marketing activities.

You will report directly to the Directors, and be experienced in marketing planning, online marketing, and preparing documented strategies and quotes.

Person Requirements

We would like you to have an excellent understanding of marketing principles, and several years experience in developing written marketing strategies. You will also need to have experience in planning and costing online marketing activities.

You will be good at managing workflow to ensure all of your work progresses, and deadlines are met.

Essential Design Skills & Experience:

• A excellent understanding of marketing principles
• Ability to consult efficiently and prepare marketing proposals
• Ability to prepare and give briefs to the design and technical teams
• Experience in planning and implementing SEO activity
• Experience in planning and implementing PPC activity
• An understanding of modern web standards

• Be able to rationalise the design and layout of a website
• Writing project briefs & being involved in the quoting process
• Be able to provide timelines and costings for proposed activities

We need someone talented and creative to join the team. You will be working on both on and offline materials, so you will need to be comfortable designing & sending something to print, as well as understand what makes a good website.

Person Requirements

We would like you to have a good understanding of marketing principles. As much as we like art, we are designers, and all of our clients want to see results. The Sputnik team are excellent at developing and sharing ideas, and are always willing to help one another. But we are also looking for someone who can contribute their own perspective to the team.

Out of date schoolwork in your portfolio will not impress, but creative, professional, returns-focused examples will definitely earn you a teacake with your interview coffee.

• Creating & adhering to branding guidelines
• Single-page print designs (posters, ads, flyers, bannesr etc)
• Multiple-page print designs (brochures, catalogues, leaflets etc)

• Solid understanding of Accessibility & usability
• Good grasp on typography & visual hierarchy of information
• Customizing designs & branding onto objects (bags, promotional goods)
• Good visual presentation of work to client
• Comfortable with wide range of styles to suit individual clients needs
• Understanding of modern web standards
• Good understanding of marketing basics
• Copy proofing
• Writing project briefs & being involved in the quoting process

You will be confident in consulting with clients to put together bespoke, effective marketing proposals, paying close attention to detail.
