The client approached us wanting to rework their company mascot which they felt was too serious; it needed to be more fun and family-oriented. The shape of mascot also needed to be easily reproduced in a walking inflatable form. They were overjoyed with the resulting illustration and immediately renamed him "Izzy".

Manchester Carers Forum is a community resource for Carers in Manchester. In particular, the "Young & Unique" network hosts regular meetings aimed at improving the social and support services for young carers. Sputnik was commissioned to create illustrated posters and laminated cards to promote the initiative in local school to both children and teenagers.

The first in the client's new line of women's T-shirts, this design was created for a promotional piece prior to the 2006 World Cup.

The CHALK Young People's Awards is an program under the New Deal for Communities rewarding the children and teenagers of the Charlestown and Lower Kersal for their talents and efforts - the winners having been nominated by the young people themselves. The group meets regularly and provides a safe and positive thinking environment for the youth.

A project funded by the Santa Cruz County Health Department aimed at educating teenagers in low income communities on safe sex. This was a challenging project that graphically needed to be credible to its audience, without overtly preaching. We created the logo and all illustrations, as well as a complete set of supporting material, including promotional items, a poster, website, online video game, and electronic greeting cards.

This program is funded by the County of Santa Cruz and educates young children on pedestrian and bicycle safety, by offering presentations and distributing literature in schools. We were asked to create large visual aid cards that would effectively communicate these messages to the young children purely through the use of symbols.

MT90 is an SMS text messaging service catering to fans of all Premiership teams, debuting with Manchester United. The corporate presentation which they show potential investors needed a bit of livening up, which we gave them with custom animations to illustrate their message. Also custom illustrated were the navigation icons on their website, as well that their product icons.

This children's book company wanted create an interactive voting system for the books sold on their website; either "Poor", "Average" or "Brilliant". The solution we chose was simple, pleasant for kids, and easy to understand at a glance.
